Dear Readers,
The college wears a deserted look with no students or lecturers on campus. And that is for the simple reason that almost everyone has gone home for holidays. Everyone is enjoying a much-awaited respite from the rigours of academic routine.Holidays are a time to rejuvenate oneself and come back to college with renewed spirits.
Time spent with family and close friends gives one's personality a make-over. Old hurts are soothed and one becomes friendlier after a long holiday. For the students in their final year, it is of course the last vacation before graduation. Although one does look forward to it, but it fills one's heart with sadness for there are many friends about to part ways to never meet again.
I have always been a sentimentalist. So I tend to feel the sorrow more. It is heartening to see your family but it is also a reminder that you are running out of time with the friends that have been with you through thick and thin. Not everyone will understand this, except of course my friends.Moving on to more pleasant things, Christmas is here and the festive cheer is surely in the air. The reds and the greens that are sprinkled in the markets are so heart-warming. New Year accompanies Christmas and that is another reason for the world to celebrate. We live in trying times and a little gaiety is quite a welcome phenomenon. For the festive season, we have brought you a wonderful spread.
