In our lifetime, we come across different kinds of people. Every encounter is an experience in itself. This is an opportunity to learn. In this process,
we tend to gain knowledge and also strike a balance in human relationships. At the end of the day, it is these relationships that matters and allows you to lead a peaceful life. However, we ought to be cautious in our relationships too. Blind belief in someone leads to problems. God has given us five senses which we have to utilize optimally. There are certain characteristics in people that we cannot change. We need to accept them the way they are and move ahead. Many a times we have noticed that even among the best of friends, relationships turn sour. It is said that the sin of getting cheated is far greater than the sin of cheating. If you have been cheated before, you have for sure created the reasons for the misfortune. This is in no way an attempt at appreciating the qualities of people who cheat. A little caution and understanding will always help. When it comes to building relationships, you always have a choice to make and it is important to take time before proceeding further.

In our relationships, we always find that we give very little importance to the good things done by our counterparts but remember every negative thing they may have done then highlight it to the maximum. The universal truth is that when our counterparts are no more, we bury all the negative thoughts and remember only their good deeds. It is like a rebirth of all the good actions done by the person. Why do we all do this? Is it because we are sure that the person will never come back to trouble us anymore with bad deeds? Well, human relationships are complex but not to the extent that we have to forsake everything else in life. If you keep aside your ego, your battle is half won. Further it takes only a little initiative on our part to push forward and attain the best bonding. Once you achieve that then you only have to be cautious in striking the right balance. And that is the catch. I wish all the readers of GCC World a very Happy and Prosperous New Year 2008.
