“On the roads or streets, you are so restricted but in a race course, there is the space to test your endurance, control and earn the respect as a biker,” he explains.
As for his past, Nanda recalls a childhood with everything he craved for. “I had a great life and never struggled for anything in life being the last born in the family and my two elder sisters already married,” recalls Nanda. “But yes, I also played a lot of pranks as young children do. I always wanted to be en entrepreneur but rally held great fascination. The sound of bikes and the trill of speed enticed me a lot.” Nanda’s father is a Granite Businessman while his mother is a Homemaker.
At the rally competitor, he won a trophy and a citation to signal greater things in the year. Talking of biking, Nanda believes there is a lot of pressure when competing with others. “It is the sheer thrill of action that keeps you going,” he says.
