Dear friends of Garden City
College,
Gardenia is a superlative exuberance of youth energy. The Crystal Celebrations marking 15 years of Garden City College’s initiative of providing quality education got its due credit by the presence of His Excellency, the former President of the Republic of Maldives. The distinguished guest was impressed with the growth and gave an assurance of collaborations and likely tie ups in various domains with the Government of Maldives.

Towards enthralling the crowd that came from close to 200 educational institutions from across the country, the Managers of Gardenia, our very own students went the extra mile to ensure all the events went on smoothly and as hosts assisted all the participants to feel at home on our campus. Our goal of creating more than 500 Event Managers turned out to be a roaring success with the right mix of students from across different disciplines. Our tribute to Bangalore in its original splendour keeping alive the name Bendakaluru in the form of a village set up was a great attraction at Gardenia.

In the previous year, the artificial rock climbing terrain that we had set up was a hit with the participants. The stand up
comedian of the Laughter Challenge fame tickled the funny bone of every one of us during the 15th Edition of
Gardenia.
Overall, the competitions have reflected the academic flavour of all the courses offered by the college. These were organised keeping in mind the emphasis that we have placed on extra curricular activities. The highlight of each day was music and dance, Art and Photo Exhibitions besides the successful conduct of the green drive at our Sports Complex where all the Guests of Honour at Gardenia have lent their hand to the cause by planting a sapling.

The festive mood this year has been enhanced by the number of enthusiastic students who thronged the campus and could be seen at all the venues. The eat outs with an assortment of mouth watering delicacies
drew a large crowd.
The Crystal Celebrations of Gardenia will remain forever in the recall through the saplings planted and for lighting up dreams.
