I wonder why people hate and segregate. Innocent
people shed tears and blood because of minor
things that a certain group of people take to be
serious causing discomfort to those without them. it
may be acceptable if one said that “I hate a particular
delicacy” that at one point of time was the best for that
particular person, but it beats up my mind when
someone came lively and shamelessly and said “I hate
you” or that someone may hate a tribe, society, caste,
country, race to mention a few. It is something that can
never please anyone and God, what to do? It is not
inborn neither is it inherited but it is just developed in
someone’s innocent heart, mind, and soul. Why should
you corrupt yourself with unconstructive matter in your
mind? And why should you burden your mind with a
load that is not changing you positively but rather |
negatively?
In the ancient days when the world was in the
struggle with colonialism and slavery, segregation was
on the lead, back home in Africa it is South Africa that
testifies this when the country was under the control of
the Boers who took over the fruitful territories of this
nation, churching her with Jesus and proclaiming to be
the “God’s chosen race,” the poor citizens looked
helpless, very many people suffered head to tail in that
error. Strikes and demonstrations were the order of the
day; great fathers lost their lives in the struggle for the
well being of their grandsons and sons. With numerous
hardships and unity, some people like the great Nelson
Mandela decided to abandon their families and fight
heaven on earth to set Africa free not only South Africa
but also Ghana’s Nkwame Nkrumah and others In |

it took some good time to sweep it out all. Those were
the days when the world realized that every creation on
this planet is useful. Those were the days when massive
development commenced in different nations after the
light shone on them but to my surprise, even today
some societies and people still hold what was held in by
their grannies. As if it’s not enough, even some people
have excelled in the field of bleaching themselves and
adopting plastic surgery to emphasize their color and the
rest. It is not a crime for someone to adopt what he/she
feels is best for them but my question to you is don’t you
feel proud being natural? And why don’t you polish
what you have other than you adopting what originally
does not belong to you and perhaps what you adopt has
disastrous side effects. No element of appreciation with

what you have but rather prefer to have what does not
belong to you, who will ever appreciate you when you
are artificial?
Have you ever taken time to reflect as to why you
are like that? Did you know that however ugly or bad
looking the common people may call you has nothing
completely to do with your life? Did you know that no
matter how people may undermine you and
discriminate is like suffocating in a green forest? Did
you know that you are more presentable and
respectable when you are like that? Why should you
allow degrading your nature to please others? And
why should you insult others in the name of color,
race, caste and the rest? Why should you block the
opportunities and chances of others who are harmless
to you but rather differ from you in physical
appearance? And why should you adopt what did not
belong to you originally but you decide to make it
part of you? Have you forgotten that the internal
structure is the same all through and there is no single
or minute difference?
You are in jeopardy if you still hold to this and my
humble request to you is to find an immediate
solution to it perhaps it is ancient and it is completely
faded. Why should you retain a faded act in this
century? the world is moving at a tremendous speed
and this will never give you a chance to hold what is
faded. Summing it all, we are one either you are short,
tall, small, big, healthy , weak, strong, to name a few.
We are united by one thing and that’s blood and for
that reason, if someone died in liberating a group of
people or society or struggle for a particular group to
attain peace or freedom, then he/she deserves a lot of
honor because he/she shed unity to unite others
