TO MAKE something special, you need to believe that it is special. Likewise, every Tperson is born with unique and special traits and he or she should realize and believe in those qualities. So when the right time comes, you can come out with flying colors.

Since people are known for their achievement but respected because of their character, it is important to be humble and respect even the people of small cadre because the smile on their face might not fetch you great benefits but will compel God to bless you with tremendous happiness.

Always remember that there is a great difference between a ‘faculty’ and ‘teacher’. You will find a faculty in the college but you can meet a teacher at any turn of your life. A teacher is a person who does not teach you any academic subjects but somehow gives you the most
edifying lessons of your life. It can be the security guard at the gate, the amma who comes to clean or the people who serve food or wash the dishes. So it is always important to
respect people regardless of their status in the society. Even a seemingly insignificant person can teach you the biggest lesson of your life, a lesson that might help you become a true and successful human being.

This is the message Tabassum Alvi would like to convey to all Gardenians. Sincere and hardworking, she currently in the final year of her Master of Business Administration (MBA) course at GCC. Ambitious and committed to realize her dreams, Tabasum has an inclination to learn new things and has always adapted a practical approach to life.

My father runs a college back in my home state and my mother is a homemaker. As for my childhood, I would only say that I have been really blessed with all the joy and happiness that a child could ever dream of.

GCC World: Why did you choose MBA

Tabasum: Doing MBA was not an impetuous decision, from the very beginning, I was interested in business field, that is why in my 10th and 12th class, I took commerce and then I chose BBA for my degree program.

GCC World:After MBA, what next

Tabasum:I plan to work for at least five years, in the field of marketing, go for a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA), and then start my own management college and hopefully make my family proud.

GCC World: What are your other interests?

Tabasum: As a management student, I believe that a person should be versatile. Apart from academics, I sometimes write poetry and engage in sketching.
