For every little action, there is a reaction. Such malpractices will certainly return to haunt them in life. Soon, they begin to repent for all their wrong doings but then it is too late. This downbeat process can be a harbinger of negative energy that can only be used for destructive purposes and nothing else. Success on the other hand is meant to fetch bliss. This in turn should lead us to the highest point we crave in life - satisfaction.
If the paths we follow are sincere, honest and respect the natural order in the society, and we do things for others without expecting something back, I am sure that each one of us will lead a very contented life. Naturally, satisfaction will not be far away. It will follow.
Many of us miss out on the niceties of life because of greed, inflated egos and our own inherent suspicious traits. These vices if kept within control will usher in satisfaction but if we allow them to govern our lives, we surely will be miserable for the rest of our lives.
To say that we can keep these vices out of our lives completely is no doubt a challenge and reeks of utopian dreams. But I am sure keeping them within manageable limits is not a distant possibility. We remain disenchanted when we try to compare our lives with others. We see a host of people in elevated positions, marvel at the wealth of others, and seek to climb the ladder of success without taking time to reflect upon how such people reached their positions.
If we spare a thought for millions of others who are not equally blessed and struggling to eke a living, it should open our eyes to the realities of our daily existence. If we compare our levels of satisfaction with theirs, I am sure we will never live to complain. Never! |
