News & Events The annual national level symposium, Bio -Rujivith concluded recently. Organised by the Departments of Life Sciences of Garden City College (GCC), the event saw eminent personalities from the academia and industry make their way to the GCC campus for days of deliberations, vibrant exchange of ideas and thoughts. Bio-Rujivith, which means creating a new life from an existing life, was an exclusive event for post graduate students. The objective of the symposium was to regenerate the minds to get accustomed to the technical know-how, new developments in the field and improve on research to create a better world. Participant at the two –day symposium were forced to have a second look at the innovative and creative decorations that the hosts came up with. Looking at the auditorium, we certainly came to the realization that Bio-Rujivith had more depth. The organizers deserve praise for the remarkable organization that characterized the hosting of the event. The hospitality and the reception committees underlined the beauty of being perfectionist. Kudos for a job well done! Coming back to the guests, the first day of the symposium unfolded with the inauguration by Dr. R. N. Sreenivas Gowda, Vice-Chancellor, Karnataka Veterinary, Animals and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar. Mr. Stephen David, Bureau Chief, India Today Bangalore was the Guest of Honour while Dr. Joseph. V.G, chairman, GCC presided over the function.
