There was 27 of us in total (I am not sure of the exact number). We were a varied group with Tpeople from the United States of America, Korea, and the northern and southern regions of India. Aldrin Bogi, our internship coordinator and connection to the Garden City College, wanted to expose us to Indian college atmosphere and he could not have chosen a better institution.

We were picked up and escorted in a comfortable bus provided by the college warmly welcomed with an auditorium packed with over 100 students and faculty, given an extensive tour of the campus, provided with dinner especially catered to satiate our spice-sensitive tongues, and escorted all the way back to our respective stays with a gift bag in each hand.

We were privileged with an hour to share our hearts about the precious gift of life that GCC seeks to accentuate. The audience was very cooperative and willing to listen to our thoughts and hearts, and we were given their undivided attention throughout our speeaches and dances. To conclude the program, the college surprised us with a pleasant showcase of Rajasthani folk dance performed by Jigar and Prit of the GCC Roll for Soul Academy captured our gazes and left us wanting for more.

Without reading Garden City College's mission statement, the college's many ideals and values came to life through the faculty and administration on that night. The college demonstrated an unparalleled spirit of hospitality and I have no doubt that the school will continue to build upon the students' characters and values and not merely intellect. I believe that GCC is and will continue to produce the finest crop of leaders in every arena of society in India, Asia, and the world.
