Shri Srinivasan endeared himself to the crowd when he called upon the students to give themselves hearty cheers for job well done. His humour struck a cord with the audience which was all ears as they listened to his advice. The police boss was swept by a wave of nostalgia as he reminisced over his college days. Emphasising on the sanctity of the occasion, he reminded the students of their responsibilities as adults. Mr. Srinivasan was all praises for the Garden City College for upholding the traditions like graduations and discipline on campus that are not thought about by many in this age of instant gratifications.

Ms. Anupama Kotur, lecturer, dept of tourism, read out the profile of Shri Chikkerur. In his address to the gathering, he emphasised on the importance of specialisation in any discipline. Ms. Babitha Joseph, lecturer, dept of English, read out the profile of Rev. Fr. Dr. Paul. He blessed the students and wished them the best of luck for their future. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Sunita Chikkerur, the HR Manager, GCC.
