It's innovative hilarious bonanza from Excel Movies that minus Farhan Akhtar from director's credit and brings new raconteur Reema Kagti to the marquee. It promises nothing spectacular or extravagant from musical front and accommodates with well synchronized dance tracks, squashy love numbers and hip-shaking musical zest in its offering. Vishal-Shekhar makes impressive moves with couple of booty-shaking musical stuffs that catalyzes film prospects. The album refurbishes and rekindles their soulful sentimental works of JHANKAAR BEATS in couple of soft n silken musical works but fails to be ground-breaking by any standards. The music duo tried their upbeat best in couple of their last composed works but ended up with mediocre show. Javed Akhtar's lyrical intellect gives album a razor sharp edge that works well for the tempo of the soundtrack and makes it a decent offering. Sunidhi Chauhan shrills, yells and screeches to monumental pace in igniting and aggravating dancing passions to the floors in Sajanji Vaari Vaari. Vishal-Shekhar rumbustious display coagulates the lyrical folk lore with flashy disco musical feast in pompous ways. The loud infectious musical display coupled with glossy ambience of twelve starlets is added punch that makes it catchy to ears and perceptible to eye-balls. It will add another Bidee (OMKAARA) to Sunidhi's credit if things work well on silver screen. Its sweet n saccharine melodious way that is set in frigid and idyllic ambience of romanticism in lively and spirited Jaana Hai Woh Kahaan. It fails to draw anything prize-winning but melts honey to ears and makes the world vibrant with its soothing impact. Shreya Ghoshal soft and sensuous flair makes intimidating vocal moves that are aptly complemented with Shaan's youthful jazzy vocals.
Shanker Mahadevan breathlessly boisterous and vocally ebullient rendition sizzles to pinnacle of spirited youth in energetic Albela Albela. The extra beat-thumping and jarring Hinglish back up chorus may sound cacophonous but l in the Shanker impressive vocals give it a momentous feel. It has the restricted appeal to party animals and conveys sufficient melodramatic feel for situational delights in the film. |
