Bombaat Masti’ ….. We thought we overheard something like a radio signature tune! Yes, we were right!
Garden City College became the first, if not one of the few institutions in the country to host a Campus Radio.
Aptly labeled Campus Radio 99.9% and going by the tag, ‘its yours’, the path breaking venture is the brainchild
of the visionary chairman, Dr. Joseph, V.G. The radio was launched by Krishnan Menon, a successful
entrepreneur in the United States. Also, unveiled during the occasion was Cleft, the official mascot of
Campus Radio. Cleft, the audience was informed, will keep them tuned throughout the day. Talking about the
facilities on campus, Krishnan advised the students to make use of the facilities that GCC provides.
