GARDENIAN OF THE MONTH

Best memories of GCC?
The college is a melting pot of cultures and it is a privilege to be studying here. I am not a stranger to multi
cultural learning having studied in an international school. The best thing you experience is living with people from different cultural background and that is what learning is all about. The lecturers here are a wonderful lot.

Your involvement in Sports and Academics?
For me, there is nodistinction. I have always believed that the two are compatible if pursued in the right spirit. Sports allow you to grow and emotionally you become stronger and focused. This feeds directly into your academic routine. Sports helps you wake up to the challenges, and you become aware there are failures and successes in life. You always know that with each loss, somewhere at the corner lurks success. The only thing one has to bring into play is time management, discipline and strategy to do well.

Looking ahead?
I am sure that I am cut out for a career in the biotechnology industry. That is not about to change

Advice to Gardenians?
Students should take the different trials they undergo in life as a challenge. Without such hurdles,
life would be a drab affair.
