REEL REVIEW

From Bikes to Formula 1 cars, it is yet another venture for Yash Raj Productions in Indian cinema.

The movie starts with a racing track (New York Speedway) followed by a flash back. It narrates how Ranvir played by Saif Ali Khan becomes the champion. After losing his parents, he earns his living as a tire changer. One day he gets noticed by manager (Javed) of a racing team who gives him a chance and that becomes the turning point in his life. Meanwhile he falls in love with Radhika played by Rani Mukerjee. Inspite of his father's wish they get married and are blessed with two kids, Princess and Champ.

But you never know what is written in your destiny. He meets with an accident on racing track and that changes his life. It takes one year to recover and despite his indomitable spirit, he fails to prove himself and constantly loses the races.

Meanwhile, his financial condition deteriorates forcing him to leave his apartment and move to another one. As a result of his bad performance, he is fired from his job. Both the parents work hard in order to meet their needs. But one day Princess overhears her parent's conversation. She then tells her brother Champ that their parents don't have enough money to pay school fees and so its better they should save money without their parent's knowledge. But Champ cannot resist the hunger pangs. When eating from dustbins, he swallows a piece glass which causes him severe bleeding. He is rushed to hospital where the doctors ask for a huge amount of money before treating him. His father opts to return to the track. With Javed and his friends, Ranvir makes his own team and wins the race. His son gets operated upon and recovers. All ends well.

The background score is awesome, can't resist any one to get back on track and just GET-SET-GO. After a long time we can watch a great family movie. Hats off to the production unit.
