Sex and the City

There have been a lot of adventure movies showing lately but as girls there’s only so much adventure that we can watch. That is why we were happy and excited to finally watch a film that revolved around friendship, love, clothes and shoes! Before we go any further, we’d like to warn the boys to only watch this film if they’ve got a soft spot for chick flicks!
Because Sex And The City is the ultimate chick flick!

Taking off four years after the events of the last episode of the hit television series, Sex And The City is all about love in its
purest form – be it your friends, your children, your companion or yourself. The four central characters Carrie Bradshaw(Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York
(Kirstin Davis) reunite in this movie to go together on a journey to find themselves. While Carrie is preparing for
her marriage to Mr. Big after 10 years of dating, Miranda finds her marriage in trouble after an incident of infidelity. Charlotte, although happy with her marriage and adopted child, secretly yearns for a child of her own, whereas Samantha happy with her job and her relationship with an actor secretly yearns for the next door neighbor. From then on, the movie unfolds with each character fighting inner battles of her own but always finds her fiercely loyal friends by her side. Funny and heart-warmig, Sex And The City is one of those movies that leave you with a warm feeling inside and
help you realize that the world is actually a very funny and beautiful place if you just look at it differently.

Having played these characters for many years in the hit television series, all the principle characters perform their roles with ease and confidence and the sparkling chemistry between all of them is evidence of that. But we’d like to put in a special mention for a character called Louise played by Jennifer Hudson. Making a special appearance in the film, Louise is ‘a real girl’ who is comfortable and not afraid to be the person she is. She brings spark and laughter every time
she appears on the screen. And finally we cannotcomplete this review without mentioning the clothes and shoes! With over 300 costume changes in the film, Sex And The City is every girl’s dream closet. Just make sure you’re not carrying too much money in your wallet while watching this film for it might tempt you to go on a very expensive shopping spree.
All in all, for us this film is a winner all the way. It’s perfect to cheer you up on a rainy day, and a wonderful film that celebrates womanhood in all its glory(especially since all the characters are between 40 and 50!). Watch this film if you’re looking for a nice time and we guarantee you’ll come out feeling good about yourself and feeling blessed to have your loved ones with you.
