Mumbai a city of people, culture, commerce, best and the worst of India. So, how does it makes up for a tourism place? For a majority of people a tourist destianation, would proabablly fit in with adjectives like nice weather, nice scenic beauty.. but well.. Welcome to Mumbai. Fifteen million people live here - industrialists, film-stars, artists, workers, teachers and clerks - all living cheek-by-jowl in soaring skyscrapers and sprawling slums. They come from diverse ethnic backgrounds and speak over a dozen tongues, adding colour, flavour and texture to the Great Mumbai Melting Pot. While writing on it, a thought came to my mind, wether to describe Mumbai as of a visitor's point of view or a citizen's point of view.. but than i figured it out, what the heck, I love the place.

The first thing, which comes across our minds while, reckoning about Mumbai is ofcourse, the Bollywood celebretries, big industralists .. But Mumbai, is much more to it. To get even a jist of what Mumbai is, be prepare to spend a month here!

For the Mumbaikars, life runs on the local trains. Here people prefer trains to cars.. something unsual and unheard in this part of the country though. Life is busy, purely work oriented.

But than lets come to the part, what all Mumbai has in store for you as your next holiday destination.
