Graduation literally means observing a university degree. On a broader sense, it deals in rolling up new responsibilities, thereby helping an individual enter a new or rather a real life. A graduation ceremony is a cultural tradition. It is a ritual or ceremony that marks the transition in a person's life- from one stage to another says Isha Jain.

After pursuing a master's degree one gets freed, attains maturity and is expected to accomplish greater responsibilities. From being a student in an educational institution, one becomes a dutiful citizen of the nation.

Earlier, students did not have enough choices to make after their bachelors degree, we are today provided with umpteen alternatives.

GCC is the finest example where students have more post-graduate courses. Be it Masters in Business Administration, Computer Applications, Tourism, Biotechnology, MS in Communication, Physiotherapy-there is just enough to choose from. The graduating students used this to their advantage.

According to Mega B.S., a Master of Science in Applied Genetics graduate GCC is a place with numerous opportunities for students to showcase their talents. “I made use of the several openings and got loads of support from the lecturers and the management,” she says. “That made learning such a pleasure.”
For Abhijit Chandra, an MBA graduate student from distant Uttar Pradesh (UP), it was a great experience to be associated with the college. A long journey no doubt - straight from UP to Karnataka - he appreciates his audacious attempt to launch his ship into the sea of continuing education.

Equally elated after making the long haul from Chandigarh in anticipation of fruitful life beyond campus, it is joy and jubilation for Rubina Sheikh, the Master of Science in Biotechnology graduate. If completing her bachelors had given her the base, she exudes a lot of confidence having made the decision to stay back for her higher education at GCC. “It's been five years of involvement with the college,” she asserts. “The institution has given me more than I craved and filled me with memories to cherish in future.”
