First Person
The first time I went on stage and faced a crowd which I thought I would never do in my entire life time, I was given many opportunities to part take as an anchor which I feel I was good but had to refine myself a lot.. there are moments I had to be perfect , I know my mentor wanted it that way but may be I was just over cautious that flaws scraped me by, I'm sure my mentor who leaves nothing unnoticed was giving me an opportunity…

As time rolled by my college, my class, my teachers and friends were dearer to me. The most anticipated thing at the end of the day was, to return to college the next morning.
One of the most elated moments was in my 4th year, we were reaching the end of 4 years of study together…it was on my farewell day, one of the most anticipated moments was when the titles were called out by the juniors and we had to guess who it was amongst us…. I was waiting for llmy turn… then suddenly the auditorium resounded with “Doston Ka Dost, Dushmano Ka Be Dost Bolo Ye Kon Hai Mere Dost (Friend to friend, friend to a foe, tell me who is this friend). Immediately after this I heard my name being screamed out by my classmates, I was over whelmed that I could leave such a beautiful impression with them.

The experience of treating the patient, interacting with them gave me lot of confidence in myself… I was being trained to be a physiotherapist. I had to deal with pains in other people's life. It was really interesting, few words of gratitude and thankfulness could make up my day, a smile on their face would say more than any words could and blessings from care seeking elders were the things to treasure…

I learnt, genuine smiles, a word of gratitude, a touch of care are the real priceless gifts which can be shared to all.

My mentor gave me the perfect opportunity to learn, experience and understand a ton of valuable things in my life they put me in thoughts, sometimes understood sometimes not.. And after all these years I'm evolving to be a more responsible and mature youth. I know in this walk of life there is an ocean for me to learn and experience.

GCC has been my garden which makes life beautiful, all thanks to my mentor- our beloved chairman Dr. Joseph V.G. For this most beautiful gift in life, and to God almighty who is the source of all
