Technology Buzz
The field of technology is the field where one could never be certain of the best. There is a better and advanced substitute always ready before one techno fanatic gets to exploit the latest. This serves as great annoyance to both who yearn for latest gizmos and one who takes it fortuitously. The two most annoying features of technological advancement are that technology advances itself everyday. So one gets up to know through the morning newspaper that an advanced substitute of the gadget he bought yesterday evening has arrived and prices of older ones have been slashed down. Electronic goods serves as the most affected group and specifically computers and mobile-phones.

Cell-phone pioneer Nokia recently launched 3 new models in Langkawi, Malaysia for techsavy fanatics who yearn for sleek designs. Now they get to choose from Nokia 8600 Luna, Nokia 6500 classic and Nokia 6500 slide. While 6500 models will hit the market by the end of year, Luna would be made available this month only. The vice-president, mobile phones sales and portfolio management, Asia-pacific, Nokia. Alex Lambeek says that Luna has been named after Roman moon goddess has a translucent smoked glass guarding the keypad and large display with 16 million colours.

While the classic happens to be the slimmest of Nokia handsets with dimensions of 109.8x45x9.5m.m.and weighing just 9 gms. With volume of 47 c.c. it's equipped with combo features like 3.2 mpx camera with music player and FM. High quality stereo headphones comes as an accessory. So far Nokia N-73 had 3.2 mpx camera. So these models could give good competence to previous models of N-series or may serve as advanced substitutes. These new models are priced between 300 to 700 euros in Malaysian currency and do not come under popular N-series of Nokia-3G.6500 models with 3.2 mpx camera will prove as advanced substitutes to previous 6300 model which had been Nokia's slimmest phone so far with 2 mpx camera. The premium Luna would flash in hands of privileged few being costlier.

The illiterates from rural masses have also been considered in new arrivals by using short-cut icons instead of headers.

In the 4 billion market of the company , India and China contribute half of it . India serves as one of the top 3 markets with customization and affordability playing key role. Nokia remains the ruler for hand-sets in India since the time, it came here. Youths mostly are very much fascinated towards the new hand-sets and company even is eyeing the first time users.

So for all those techno fanatics who yearn to get the latest, its advised to get it before they get to know that their possession is out-dated.
