Infrastructure is considered as the backbone of any economy. It includes electricity, roads, railways, schools, hospitals, drainage system, science and technologies research, development etc.
Drainage system is a big problem for almost every city especially during the rainy seasons. Even Patna faced similar problems till last year. Now, the drainage system of Patna has been restructured. Even after continuous rains, within three to four hours, the network gets cleared. Networks of flyovers have helped ease traffic flow and even roads in the villages are appreciable.
Instead of moving towards the markets and supermarkets, Patna is turning to a mall culture. Through the efforts of Hon. Laloo Prasad Yadav, the Union Minister for Railways, Bihar is now well connected to the rest of the country through the railways. Many direct trains now ply from various places in Bihar to other cities in the country.
Last but not least, Bihar is not lagging behind in the field of fashion too. The youth of Bihar is very fashionable. At the same time, they also stick to their culture.
Interestingly, while many people still make fun of the Biharis accent, they forget to look at their potential and the great things they have added to this country. Perhaps, it is time we all stopped looking at Bihar as a sick state.
